4D3N in Krabi

Hello there! Finally got down and write this long overdue travel post. Its been almost a year since we've been to Krabi. But I really want to document my journeys down so I could reminisce it one day.

Anyway, we (Ivan, Susanna and I) were quite lazy to plan the trip to Krabi and it was actually quite an impromptu decision to go to Krabi. That period of time when we went, not much people know about this place or rather, this is not the 'first option' travel places of Thailand.

So we booked our trip via WTS Travel & Tours Pte Ltd. Total tour package: $654.00, $218.00/pax [for the tour, hotel and flight]

Morning flight: 10.05am (SG time) - 11.10am(Krabi Time)

Setting off to the airport and taking lots of photos while waiting to board the plane~

Alright, enough of it, heading off to board the plane now!

See you in a bit Krabi~

Upon arriving at the airport, we were greeted by someone for our airport transfer and sightseeing which is inclusive in the tour package. We had to share the van with another family but its alright actually.

We place our luggage on the van and we proceeded with sightseeing, instead of going to the hotel first. Anyway, first stop: Wat Thum Sir "Tiger Cave" Temple.

There's actually nothing much, so we tried to make use of it and just kept snapping pictures of everything. Anyway, two tips to take note.

1. The weather is quite hot, so do wear something that you won't sweat a lot in.
2. There are monkeys EVERYWHERE. One of them actually climbed and grabbed Ivan's shirt which is quite scary. Try to avoid food because we bought ice-cream over there.

After which, the driver drove us somewhere and we had duck noodle for lunch. This is super nice!

We were then brought to the Marine Live Rehabilitation Center. Nothing much here as they are renovating the place. We did see some fishes, there is even one breed of fish that is SO SCARY! They warn us to be careful not to fall into the place where the rear the fish, as the fishes are carnivores.

We did went to Vougue Shopping Mall, visit fruit markets but all there is nothing much here. Got a bad experience at the Vogue Shopping Mall streets. I wanted to buy something but I didn't have small change. The woman yelled at me! In the end, lucky Susanna sister passed her some coins from her previous trip so she saved my life. Rude woman, oh my god.

Then finally to our hotel! We were staying at Ao Nang Villa Grand Superior Room. Total cost: $218 (price for 3 nights), we got our one night free!

Lots of selfies at the hotel room. There is no more tour for the day, we slacked in the hotel for a while before heading out to walk around! There are lots of hotels all around and the bustling street are filled with lots of shops and people!

Saw this at one of the food stalls and got it!! This is super nice! OH MY GOD, craving for this now!

Day 2 of Krabi was the 4 Island Hopping by Long Tail Boat. We visited Tub Island, Chicken Island, Mo Island and Poda island. We did snorkelling which is AMAZING! DO bring along sunblock as we got really bad sun burnt! Try not to bring too much stuff and I didn't bring along my camera as most of the time you will be in the water.

You can go and buy the waterproof bags which they do sell along the streets of Krabi.

Our tour package ended at Day 2, and we looked for something else to do for the next day since there is really nothing much around. So we planned a trip to ride the ATV and elephant ride!

While waiting for the person to fetch us to the place.

It rained heavily which makes it harder to ride the ATV, BUT IT WAS SO FUN! WOOHOO~

Elephant riding after the ATV!

Such a relaxing and nice view!

We went to have massage during our last night there. We had full body massage, which is my first time. All of us got sunburnt so we went for the massage option that helps soothe the sunburnt. The place actually have signs of travel advisor outside the shop where people highly recommend the place.

There is really a lot of massage parlour there but we want to avoid those that might be dodgy. Finally settled with this one:

Sunset Massage
Mobile: 0066 (0) 872 70 63 58
