Easy Last Minute Christmas Treats!
00:03
Hi guys! So as most of you should have known, Christmas is just around the corner and after much research and customization, I have crafted four last minute d.i.y christmas treats recipe that can easily be done!
Things you will need:
Measuring Cup / Beaker
Chocolate Chips (one cup)
Butter (some)
Baking Pan
Chocolate (any desired amount, depending on how chocolatey you want it to be)
Condensed Milk (14 ounces)
Nutella (any desired amount)
Aluminum Foil
1. Lay the aluminum foil on the baking pan and lightly coat the surface with butter using a brush, so that the chocolate will be easy to remove. (You can skip this step if you spray it with a non-stick spray)
2. Taking a can of 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (which is about 396 grams), pour half of it into the measuring cup and leave the other half aside first.
3. On a saucepan, pour the measured condensed milk in, add in a cup of chocolate chips, your desired amount of chocolate and a pinch of salt.
5. Let it cool down for a minute and keep stirring so it does not hardened!
6. As it cools down a little bit, pour the mixture into the baking pan and let’s start on the second part of the recipe.
7. Pour the remaining condensed milk into the saucepan and add your desired amount of Nutella (I am just using 2 tablespoons of it).
8. On a low heat, keep stirring, when it is fully dissolved, let it cool down and then pour it into the baking pan on top of the chocolate layer.
Waiting time: Minimum 4 to 5 hours, depending on how hot your mixture is when you place it in the freezer.
This recipe is originated from the chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe, I replaced it with Nutella as I wanted something different. Nutella much liquified as compared to peanut butter, therefore, if you want it to hardened faster, I would suggest you to not exceed 2 tablespoons of Nutella.
Things you will need:
Bananas (2)
Peanut butter
cutting board
knife
chocolate chips (1.5 cups, depending on how much banana you are using, more bananas, more chocolate chips is needed.)
Toothpicks
Plate
1. Peel the bananas, chop them up into chunks, not too thin and place them all in a plate.
3. Lay a piece of aluminum foil on top of a plate and then taking a jam knife, scoop some peanut butter onto a slice of banana and sandwich it with another slice of banana. (continue for all and you can also replace the peanut butter with nutella or any of your preferred filling if you like).
4. Use some toothpicks to hold onto the bananas so that it won’t slide off.
Waiting time: 40 minutes to an hour.
To prevent the melted chocolate from hardening so fast, you can do step 3 first then follow by step 2 or you can place a bowl or pot filled with hot water underneath the bowl of chocolate so that the steam can keep the chocolate warm.
Nutella
Marshmallow
Oreos
1. Getting started, open a packet of oreo and put it all into a bag, using the back of the knife, I am just going to smashed the oreos into smaller pieces.
2. Taking your glasses, scoop a spoonful of smashed oreos and place it at the bottom of the glass and do the same for both.
3. Then, taking a tablespoon of nutella, layer it on top of the smashed oreo.
4. Taking your packet of marshmallow, you can use the mini marshmallow but I got the large one by mistake and just layer it on top, and once you are done, top it off with some chocolate chips.
5. After which you can just top it up with the leftover crushed oreos from the beginning and there you go!
Waiting time: 5 minutes
Mugs
Bananas
Yoghurt
Knife
A packet of oreo
Chopping board
1. Similarly, I am going to smashed the oreos and once that is done, I am going to layer the base of the mug with it.
2. Layer some yoghurt on top of the smashed oreos.
3. Peel the apple, slice and chop it into smaller chunks and just place it on top of the yoghurt.
4. Layer the yoghurt again on top of the apple.
5. Final step! Slice some banana on the top layer!
