The price tag is still on the bag and it cost 12,800 Yen. I google the rate for SGD -> Yen and it is $1 to 80.94 Yen. Some calculations:

12,800/80.94 = $158++

And yes, I saw the "Made in China" sign, but surprisingly, this bag is really nice. It is unlike those Bugis Street quality that you get!

Benefits of the bag:

1. There are 2 zips. It saves you the hassle from searching for the zip wondering which end is it at. It always happens to me when I am searching for my bus card or wallet.

2. There is an attached small mirror which can be used to touch up your makeup etc. It is detachable so if you don't want it, just remove it!

3. There are front and back pockets!

4. It is waterproof.

5. There are 2-way use.

6. This bag won the 1st prize in Japanese Rakuten Ranking many times!

Remember I mentioned about 2 ways to using the bag? You can either carry it like me and then put it on your shoulder as it is.

Or, you can carry it as a sling bag! No worries, the strap is detachable! Also, the strap have this shoulder patch which helps minimize the pain when you are carrying heavy stuff! Love how considerate the designs are~
