Meaningful Performance

03:44

Hi guys! So I performed today with Maya Dance Theatre (DSA; Down Syndrome Association) again today and it is a truly wonderful experience. I still remember when Zaini (Republic's Polytechnic Art director) told us about this and when I took up this item for Momentum 2013. It is an item that reach out to peoples' heart.

Today's event is performed mostly by kids with short comings such as being blind, deaf or suffering from down syndrome and the guest of honor is PM Lee Hsien Loong. It is an honor performing with them and I really hope to do it again.

The audience seats are separated into 2 different levels and it can take up to 1000plus audience. Here are some of the dancers that I've worked with through this item.

When I was standing on the stage earlier on, I was wondering: "What will life be without dance?"

You know the feeling of standing on stage where thousands on eyes are on you that very moment? That is an amazing feeling and especially when the audience applaud for you. You feel that all the pain or suffering is all worth it.

With Loves,
